It was motioned and carried “that the suspend collecting for the old debts until ordered to collect by the mayor—

The Committee on claims reported the ’s accounts were correct and that he be allowed 75.00 for extra Services— which Report was accepted, and the instructed to draw on the Treasury for the several items due the members of the Council, and fees of the Municipal Court— also all Bills in the Disbursement book except [Samuel] Marr & —
An Ordinance to prevent Horse racing and for other purposes—
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of that any person or persons running a horse or horses within the limits of the corporation of the City of , or otherwise riding or driving any horse or horses, or any other animal or animals within the limits of this Corporation so as to endanger the safety of any person or property may be fined by the Mayors Court in any sum not exceeding one hundred dollars by due process of law—
