Biography
16 Apr. 1794–9 Dec. 1865. Farmer. Born at Walkill, Orange Co., New York. Son of John Daley and Amy Mapes. Married Almira Barber, 22 Jan. 1819, at Marcellus, Onondaga Co., New York. Moved to Huron Co., Ohio, by 1827. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, before 1833. Ordained a high priest by JS and Frederick G. Williams, 31 Mar. 1836. Settled at Adam-ondi-Ahman, Daviess Co., Missouri, 1838. Exiled from Missouri; located at Big Neck Prairie, Adams Co., Illinois. Migrated to Salt Lake Valley, 1849. Settled at San Bernardino, Los Angeles Co., California, 1851. Died at Riverside, Riverside Co., California.
