Raglin (Raglan), John Thomas
Biography
Ca. 1800–23 June 1886. Teamster, miller, farmer. Born in Virginia. Married first Flora Storm of Missouri, by 1825. Moved to Ray Co., Missouri, by June 1830. A pioneer settler in what later became Caldwell Co., Missouri, 1831. Moved to Daviess Co., Missouri, by July 1837. At his home in Daviess Co., JS and Lyman Wight were brought before Judge Austin A. King for preliminary hearing on charges brought by William P. Peniston, 7 Sept. 1838. Married second Cynthia Anne Maupin, 23 Apr. 1851, in Daviess Co. Lived in Tehama Co., California, as early as 1858. Married third Nellie M. Williams, 6 July 1872, in Tehama Co.
