Biography
24 Jan. 1812–9 Dec. 1873. Music teacher, farmer. Born in Boston. Son of Philemon and Betsy Duzette. Married first Eliza A. Cowan, 31 Jan. 1839. Baptized into Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, before Mar. 1839. Ordained a seventy, 8 Mar. 1839. Served mission to Michigan, 1839. Appointed to serve mission to Loraine and Huron counties, Ohio, 1843. Ordained a high priest, 21 Jan. 1844. Member of Nauvoo Legion. Migrated to Salt Lake Valley, 1848. Wife died, Nov. 1850. Married second Mary Adaline Ewing, 18 Aug. 1852. Served in bishopric of Salt Lake City Eighth Ward. Died in Rockville, Kane Co., Utah Territory.
